Custom products

DPP can develop and produce custom products for special applications. Good communication is essential in order to develop a product that fully lives up to the customer’s expectations. The tooling design also needs extra attention in order to develop a reliable production process.

Carbon fibre / epoxy micro tube, Ø(inner) 0.3mm, Ø(outer) 0.7mm. Developed for minimally invasive instruments (medical application). PEEK tube with carbon/epoxy mantle, Ø(outer) 1mm, Ø(inner) 0.5mm. Developed for minimally invasive instruments (medical application). Glass fibre / epoxy micro tubes and rods. Glass fibre profiles are non conductive (unlike carbon fibre profiles). Developed for satellite and medical equipment.
Short segments of carbon fibre / epoxy micro rod. Used in a mechanical application. Short segments of glass fibre / epoxy micro rod. Used in an electrical application in satellite equipment. Translucent glass fibre rod. Dental application.
 
Carbon fibre / epoxy micro rod, Ø 0.27mm. Developed for minimally invasive instruments (medical application). See standard products round.
Thin carbon fibre / epoxy strip. A special high temperature resistance resin is used. Used as reinforcement in offshore piping.
Carbon fibre / epoxy tube, Ø(outer) 4mm, Ø(inner) 2.5mm. Used as spokes in high tech bicycle wheels. See standard products micro tubes.
Partly cured carbon fibre / epoxy rod. The customer re-shapes (curves or presses) the products in a heated mould where it is post cured to its final degree of curing. Used in aerospace industry.
Strips made of special high modulus carbon fibre (Toho Tenax UMS 3536). Used as constructive elements in the air sport industry/ model building.
Strips made of special high strength carbon fibre (Toho Tenax IMS 5131). Used in aerospace industry.
